Farm house in winter~ after I took this picture walked along the huge frozen drift that is in our yard~ can't tell in these pictures how far off the ground I am walking on the drift~
Snow pile by the barn~ Perfect for King of the Mountain~!
Huge snowpile by the machine shed~ this is one of 4 huge piles of snow~ I'm thankful we have a tractor with huge loader bucket and a large 4 auger snowblower.
This is the huge drift I must face going up and down our driveway, the least bit of wind and we are snowbound once again~!
Frozen tundra~ winter landscape view west of our home looking across the road~ the land is resting in preparation for spring planting~

bbbbrrrr....we've got ice here today..we really need some of that snow, it's so dry..keep warm!
Brrr...It makes me colder than I already am....Getting sick & tired of this weather I can tell you.....will drop back down below 0 again tonight....But have faith spring is right around the corner.
There is a flock of robins at my feeder station and I have never seen them like this before...Lets face it girl, we people in Minnesota are a hardy bunch...

Wow, how peaceful and gorgeous! I love snow, I am still hoping for a lot more snow!
Yum yum TRIPLE yum!!
Tina, we've had a heat wave come thru Minnesota since this picture was taken, thank goodness, since the wind the past few days would have drifted us tight again. The joys of rural life on the farm.
Sue~ heat wave in Minnesota~!
Oh miss lefty we can share some of this white stuff with you in Michigan anytime~! lol
Miss Peach Tree sure these pics bring back memories of the upper midwest.
wow...thats a lot of snow
MommaB~ we've been spoiled here the past 5 years with very little snow, so guess we are due. It's the wind out here on the prairie that makes live miserable. Thankfully February is a short month. Have a great winter.
